About Us:

Equity Global Academy is a non-profit educational organization that provides culturally inclusive academically rigorous digital learning programs for students in grades 9 -12 as well as adult education!  Our main office is located in the Garland Building although most of the school learning will be online, but there will be opportunities for the students to interact in meetings, workshops and collaborating with the community of other offices in the building! 

Dr Denise Goring a longtime educator founded the online school after being part of various schools noticed that most students were missing on cultural learning and some basic foundational issues.  She also noticed that schools had to deal with behavior issues while trying to teach and was led Spiritually to come up with an online school to help students that need a different type of learning environment!



Equity Global Academy was established in 2026 as a private 501c3 nonprofit High School to accommodate a rapidly growing number of students needing access to a fully online self-pace education. It was developed in response to the outcry for students needing more than what traditional schools are offering. So, Dr Goring, through her many years in education, created Equity Global Academy to help students from all backgrounds thrive through culturally responsive education, innovative learning experiences, and a commitment to social justice. We cultivate global citizens to lead with empathy, think critically and act boldly to shape a more equitable world.

What became clear as online learning became more widely accepted was to develop something where students could learn and be safe in the comfort of their home where could use the success of Moodle, IXL and other Learning Management Systems to help compliment their learning experience without influences from other students that might disrupt their learning!
